Where a guide involves safety, health or developmental considerations, we aim to distinguish practical product guidance from medical advice and refer to appropriate authoritative sources where necessary.
What a recommendation means
A recommendation does not mean that a product is right for every family. AgeFile instead explains which circumstances may make one option more suitable than another.
Children develop differently, products change over time, and individual preferences can matter greatly. Parents should always check current product instructions, age guidance, weight limits and safety information before use.
